General Terms of Sale:

All items shown or described are subject to prior sale. Many of the items on the site are on display in our mall location in Austin, Texas. In most cases, we do not pull these items from inventory until payment is received for a web order.

Prices do not include shipping. Orders under $100 are shipped without insurance unless specifically requested. Jewelry orders are generally shipped first class by U.S. mail. Ladies accessories are most often shipped priority.

All items are depicted and described as accurately as possible, but we do allow justifiable returns. Please e-mail with an explanation of why you want to return an item prior to sending anything back. Should an item arrive damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the US Postal Service. If items are returned for any reason other than condition problems originally overlooked by the seller, the transaction will be treated like an approval with the buyer paying shipping costs both ways.

Orders paid by credit card or money order are shipped as soon as possible following receipt of payment. Check orders are shipped approximately one week after receipt and deposit of payment. Please allow for mail time and check processing time when estimating the date you expect to receive your merchandise.

Ordering Instructions:

  1. E-mail to pam@chicantiques.com or phone (512) 789-3803 to check on availability of the items you are interested in purchasing. Refer to the Item Code listed (if applicable) in the description of each item. Please include the shipping destination so that postage can be estimated more accurately.

    We answer all order email very promptly. If you email and don't hear back from us within two business days, you can assume that there is some kind of problem. Please feel free to phone, if you cannot get through by email.

  2. If the item is still available, it will be marked as sold and a return e-mail will be sent with your order total. The item will be held for one week. If we do not receive payment within one week (foreign orders are given special consideration) then the sold tag will be removed and it will be up for sale once again. If the item you are interested in is already sold, you will be notified as soon as possible.

  3. After I have supplied you with an order total, send check or M.O. (see General Terms of Sale) to:

  4. If you would like to pay by CREDIT CARD, you may use PayPal. If you do not subscribe to PayPal, include this information with your item inquiry and other arrangements can be made for credit card payment.
